Ta'an Kwäch'än citizens asked to report
on fish and wildlife harvest
• Ta'an Kwäch'än citizens are asked to report their fish and wildlife information to the Renewable Resources branch of the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council.
• In the case conservation closures are imposed, your harvest information is crucial to determine the basic needs levels. The basic needs levels, in turn, determine the total allowable harvest for Ta'an Kwäch'än citizens.
Your harvest information will provide us with a better chance of maintaining our basic needs levels for harvesting fish and wildlife in the Ta'an Kwäch'än traditional territory. Of course, we will keep your personal information confidential and we will use only the overall harvest numbers and approximate locations to determine the basic needs levels.
